Inside the Accademia, take your time exploring at your own pace. Enter the magnificent Tribune Hall and come face-to-face with the iconic 17-foot marble David. Take your time admiring this Renaissance masterpiece from all angles. Notice the anatomical precision, the contemplative expression, and the oversized hands and head that make this sculpture so remarkable.
Walk along the corridor lined with Michelangelo's four unfinished "Prisoners" or "Slaves" sculptures. These powerful figures emerging from raw marble demonstrate the artist's unique "non-finito" technique and reveal his creative process.
